Philippines-Japan Friendship Kisetsu Buffet at Yawaragi
To commemorate Philippine-Japanese Friendship Month, Yawaragi presents a buffet that honors the enduring relationship between the two cultures through food. This specially curated dining experience highlights dishes that reflect shared culinary influences and unique interpretations from both countries.
Among the featured items are:
- Rice straw smoked sustainable Skipjack tuna sashimi
- Prawn tempura and mango maki
- Rice straw smoked and herbed roasted Australian Wagyu chuck eye roll
- Matcha Bibingka, a fusion twist on a Filipino classic
With a nod to the year diplomatic relations were restored, the buffet is offered at a symbolic rate of PHP 1,956 nett per person. This culinary tribute is available for a limited time only—on Friday dinner and Saturday lunch, from July 4 to 31, 2025.
