This Mother’s Day, Yamazato invites you to a celebration rooted in grace, seasonality, and quiet luxury. Inspired by the Japanese art of kaiseki, each of our three special menus—omakase-style, teppan, and obento—offers a thoughtfully curated dining experience that honors the essence of motherhood.
Each course is guided by the season’s freshest ingredients, prepared with delicate balance and intention. Whether shared over a refined counter-side teppanyaki experience, a serene sushi omakase, or a beautifully layered obento, these limited-time offerings express gratitude through craftsmanship, harmony, and care.

Mother's Day Obento Kaiseki

- Grilled salmon with tree bud miso sauce with salt-marinated cherry blossom

Glossary of terms:
- bento/obento - A bento is the Japanese iteration of a single-portion take-out or home-packed meal, often for lunch
- kaiseki - a traditional multi-course Japanese-style tasting menu
- kisetsu - direct translation in Japanese for the word "seasons"
- teishoku - a traditional Japanese set meal. The term literally translates to “fixed meal,” emphasizing that the components of the meal are carefully selected and predetermined.
- wagyu - a Japanese beef cattle breed
