Manila, Philippines – This Father’s Day, Chef Rinnosuke Mouri has prepared a sumptuous feast with Hotel Okura Manila’s Father’s Day special Bento spread.
The delectable bento set features an appetizer – grilled salmon and mackerel, simmered duck loin, grilled cod and eggplant in miso, mustard-filled lotus root, wheat gluten with miso, shrimp, Japanese omelet and beef-wrapped asparagus; a simmered dish of tofu bun, shiitake mushroom, radish, taro, carrots, pumpkin, rolled kelp, and bamboo shoots; as well as chirashi sushi with lotus root, gizzard shad, shiitake mushroom, boiled conger eel, sushi shrimp, egg sheet, seasoned codfish flakes and flying fish roe.
Get the Father’s Day Bento Set for PHP 5,888 net, good for 4 persons. In addition, Hotel Okura Manila has a limited offering of sake that pairs well with the bento spread – Hakushika Honjozo Nama Chozo 300 ml at PHP 1100++ and Gekkeikan Nigori 300 ml at PHP 900++.
